BEARDS O' VASSAR

Don’t call it a comeback…. JOEL Orloff returns to beardsovassar with… a mustache! Purrrhaps this is indeed a moustache to fear.  Full by the nose and tapering on each side, this mustache is no Tom Selleck… Beardsovassar runs in fear, curls up in a ball in the corner and gives this one a THREE (3) for creepiness.  (Perhaps it is the slight tongue lick or the easily-convertible bandit-to-ski-mask hat but beard watchers may see this mustache following them in nightmares!) But kudos to Sir Orloff on his second appearance on beardsovassar!  For your laudable creepiness, sweet Joel we thank you.

A well composed Vassar beard photo hits us today, friends… the source wishes to remain anonymous but this combination of beard and red nails has really got something going for it…. However, this beard is perhaps the most frustrating kind of beard because it has some real potential, but oh alas! O horror of horrors: this beard was shaved off before its full potential could be realized. Let this be a lesson to you all: let your beard grow long! But thank you, beard grower… though it is too short, your beard is still a FOUR (4) on the beardsovassar scale for its evenness and fullness (and the red nails don’t hurt). Go long, beard, go long, and purrrhaps we shall see this beard reincarnated at some future time on beardsovassar.

BeardsoVassar hits the ACDC! Here is Percy sporting a very spiffy “no shave novembeard”… and what a beard it is! Very full, very even, and with a fine shape.  This is most definitely an EIGHT (8) on the beardsovassar scale…. fine work indeed! It was sad to see this beard leave after November ended, but the memory of the beard lives on….

Back on the bearded path… here is Jack Rowland’s beard, documented in all its glory and fuzzy warmth.  This beard is commendable for its evenness around the chin and its well-kept shape as well as its overall fullness, especially through the jowels.  A SIX-SEVEN (6-7) on the beard scale… a mighty fine beard indeed! Keep it up Vassar beards!

BEARD FANS! I apologize for the delay…. coming at you with a new year, new beard… here is Casey! This beard has a lot of good qualities—fullness, rounded even shape, and a trustworthiness.  This is no-nonsense beardgrowing to be proud of! A fine work of beard indeed—BEARDSOVASSAR says: SIX (6) on the beard scale! Quite well done!

The Vassar beard train rolls on! Here is a beard from last year, but oh what a beard.  Sported by the one & only Chris Martel, this beard has a shape that differs slightly from the beards of the past two posts…. This beard grows fuller along the sides and directly on the chin.  It’s the kind of beard that says “I may be a friend, or purrrhaps a foe, but either way, I’m kinda kickass.”  Combined with the sweet hat and not-at-all-even-a-little-frightening eyes, this beard rises to a SEVEN-EIGHT on the beard scale.  Thank you, fine sir, for this delightful beard! Another day, another Vassar beard…. sported by funkadelic Joel Orloff…. This beard is on the shorter side but with impressive fullness and evenness all through the jaw—the beard works well on Mr. Orloff, drawing attention to his chin and away from the evil in his eyes (…jokes…) 

But seriously, this is a quality beard: well-groomed, well-grown, well done! Beards O Vassar says: SIX-SEVEN on the beard scale!  

Hello again beard fans! Coming at you with a new one—this beard wishes to remain anonymous but it certainly deserves some recognition…. Look at the evenness of the beard encompassing the entire chin and jaw line.  But purrrrhaps the most stand out feature of this beard is its coloring—the tinge of ginger (and blonde below the lower lip) bring this beard up to a SEVEN; a notable beard indeed! Well done, sir!

Back to Vassar, back to beards…. and this one is quite a beard. Probably a NINE (9) on the beard scale—CONGRATULATIONS to Mr. Andrew Rovner on his magnificent beard.  Note the pointiness of the beard at the chin, the neither over-groomed nor unruly texture…. this is truly the beard to beat. Well done, sir; well done.
